Nuszer Kopatz, the landscape architects on this project, invited us to create a sculptural mural for the undulating exterior wall for this playground, Tunnels Park in the RedLeaf communitiy. The intent for the mural was to break up the mass of the solid concrete wall and to have a bit of fun, you know, for the kids.

So, we developed a windy day motif in which the kids can follow the path of blowing leaves past all kinds of funny animals. The clever thing about using the wind motif, is it allowed us accentuate the round and wavy feeling of the rest of the park as well as impact more of the wall for less money.
